Migrate Contacts
Contacts are the core of your marketing and CRM efforts.
Step 1: Export Contacts from ActiveCampaign
• Go to Contacts
• Click Export
• Select fields (Email, First Name, Last Name, Phone, Tags, Custom Fields)
• Avoid special characters in file name
• Download CSV
Step 2: Prepare CSV for Smart Squatch AI
• Use date format: YYYY-MM-DD
• Use UTF-8 encoding
• Remove emojis & special characters
• Ensure valid email addresses
Step 3: Import Contacts into Smart Squatch
Go to Contacts → Import Contacts
Upload CSV
Map fields correctly
Assign tags (e.g., Imported from ActiveCampaign)
Click Import
Step 4: Review Data
Verify all contacts and fields
Migrate Deals (Opportunities)
Step 1: Export Deals from ActiveCampaign
• Go to Deals
• Apply filters (Open, Won, Lost)
• Click Export
• Download CSV
Step 2: Prepare CSV
• Include Deal Title, Value, Pipeline, Stage, Contact Name
• Ensure pipeline/stage matches Smart Squatch AI
Step 3: Import Deals into Smart Squatch AI
Go to Opportunities → Import Opportunities
Upload CSV
Map fields
Assign pipeline & stage
Click Import
Step 4: Post-Import Check
Verify deals and stages
Migrate Email Templates
Step 1: Export from ActiveCampaign
• Go to Campaigns → Templates
• Click gear icon → Share
• Copy link
Step 2: Import into Smart Squatch AI
• Go to Marketing → Emails → Templates
• Click Import Template
• Paste link
• Save
Step 3: Review
• Adjust branding if needed
